In terms of cost, Prague is a bit cheaper than – say London and Paris. Although locals complain that its getting more and more expensive, may be because of joining the EU.
I definitely found supermarkets to be a bit cheaper and hotels etc. outside of city center are definitely cheaper. Even though Korunas is the official currency in Czech Republic, I found Euros to be equally acceptable in hotels, slightly bigger sized establishments. In fact a local shop accepted Euros from me without raising eyebrows.
