Prague Maps - City Center, Old Town, Map of Metro and Trams
Prague Maps section gives you information on various maps of Prague that you will find useful when travelling in Prague using public transport or while on a walking tour of prague. Maps included are Prague Metro Map, Prague Trams and Metro Map, Tourist Map of Historical City Center of Prague
Before you go to Prague, if you have bought any tourist book, typically it will have detailed map of Prague showing all areas including the city center, old town, new town, Jewish quarter and the Prague castle map.
Typically these tourist books also contain detailed maps Prague Trams and Metro system. These maps are generally very good from tourist perspective as some also show major tourist places and attractions clearly on to maps. I have seen lonely planet gide, the AA key guide, Insight city guide and all give useful maps of Prague.
In case you don’t have a guidebook, don’t worry. You can buy Prague maps in bookshops, newsagents. Most of the good hotels and serviced apartments also typically have Prague maps to give away. Tourist Information offices in Prague also give maps showing tourist attractions They also offer other free maps with brochures.
Personally speaking, I did not buy a map of Prague. Although I did have couple of tourist guidebooks with me, I chose to pick up a free map from my apartment which was supplied by the Prague tourist information office. The advantage is, you can just roll the map into pocket rather than carrying the whole book.
I have also given may links at the top, simply download the required maps from those links and have a printer ready.
